Alongside my in-school leadership experience, I have worked extensively with individual schools and educational consortiums to support academic improvement at both institutional and system level. This work has included partnering with senior leadership teams to evaluate provision, strengthen curriculum design, improve the quality of teaching and assessment, and embed consistent approaches that drive the highest academic standards. I am particularly experienced in supporting leaders to move from strategic intent to effective implementation.

I believe that credible consultancy and leadership are grounded in excellent teaching practice. Remaining closely connected to teaching ensures that my work is practical, evidence-informed, and trusted by staff, enabling change to be both realistic and sustainable.

I hold a Level 5 CIPD Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development and a certificate in Team Leading, which underpin my work in coaching, mentoring, and leadership development. My approach is analytical, collaborative, and outcomes-focused, driven by a genuine commitment to helping leadership teams and education providers achieve excellence.

I am an experienced educational consultant with an academic background in Biomedical Sciences and a PGCE from the University of Oxford (St Hugh’s College). With over 25 years’ experience across state secondary schools and colleges, independent schools, I bring a understanding education establishments  and what is required to secure sustained academic excellence.

I have held a range of senior leadership roles, including Director of Teaching and Learning, Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Head of Science at both secondary and preparatory level, Head of Houses, and Equality Lead. In these positions, I have led whole-school improvement initiatives, raised academic standards, and developed high-performing teams with a clear focus on impact, accountability, and continuous improvement.
